Map

Map Overview

The map represents all data in a graphical format.

Initial display of the map will show all vehicles at their last known positions.

Map Toolbar

Zoom In: Select this option by clicking on it. By dragging an area on the map, the map will zoom into the selected area.

Zoom Out: Select this option by clicking on it. Clicking on any area on the map will cause the map to zoom out. The point that was clicked on will be the centre of the map.

Pan: Select this option by clicking on it. Clicking on an area on the map will cause the clicked on area to be at the centre of the map.

Select: Select this option by clicking on it. If you now click on a vehicle, relevant positional information of that vehicle will be displayed on the map. If you click on any other area (within the borders of South Africa), relevant geographical information of that area will be displayed.

Full: This will cause the map to be zoomed out to the full extend.

Initial: This will cause the map to zoom to the initial level.

Save: This will enable you to save the current displayed map to your computer.

Print: Print the map to a printer you select.

The more you zoom in, the more detailed information will be displayed.
