Menu

Menu Overview

The menu is the main navigation tool on the site. You will notice that the menu is split into sections:
Vehicle Description
Vehicle Location
Fleet
Trip Replay
Reports
Exit

Vehicle Information

The top section of the menu will display relevant information relating to the selected vehicle. Note that the vehicle is selected in the Fleet section on the menu.

Fleet Section

This section of the menu consists of two sections; Fleets and Vehicles.

By selecting a Fleet, the Vehicle list will display ONLY the vehicles allocated to the selected fleet.

By selecting a vehicle, the relevant vehicle information will be displayed on the top section of the menu (See Vehicle Information).

Buttons
Last Position: By clicking on this button, the last known position of the selected vehicle will be displayed on the map.

Select All: Clicking on this button will select all the vehicles in the list.

Request New Position: This action will post a request to the server that will poll the vehicle in order to obtain the latest positional information.

Trip Replay Section

These menu options enables you to view the route traveled by a vehicle during a specified period.

By selecting an option the following input screen will open..

Simply select the relevant criteria and click in the Display/Print button. The information will be displayed on the map and in report format.

Reports Section

These menu options provide you with the option of extracting reports from the Vigil System. All generated reports will be displayed in a PDF format. This enable you to save or print the report.

Exit Section

By selecting this menu option, you will exit the Vigil System.
